Abstract With the prosperous development of aviation industry, the demands of helicopter have been rising continuously. In order to effectively improve the helicopter safety features, dive deeply into the reasons of helicopter accidents and formulate accurate safety evaluation methods, this paper makes use of AHP and grey fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate safety features of the entire helicopter system on the basis of analysis of previous, advanced and mature safety evaluation methods and finally develops a comprehensive evaluation method of helicopter safety features. Firstly, using AHP to determine the factors that influence the security features of the helicopter. These factors are divided into several levels. Then, this paper determines their weights. The comprehensive evaluation system of helicopter safety features has been established. Finally, this paper determines the membership degree and gray level of each index in comprehensive evaluation system, which means using grey fuzzy evaluating method to evaluate the security features of the helicopter. The applicability of the AHP-Grey Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method has been validated by XX helicopter as a specific example.
