Performance Reliability Analysis for the Landing Gear System Based on the Simulation Model

Abstract Based on the simulation model, a performance calculation of an aircraft landing gear is made by using the simulation platform which is becoming the multi-body dynamic simulation software LMS Virtual.Lab, finite element analysis software Nastran and hydraulic control simulating software AMESim, then an reliability analysis of the dropping performance of an aircraft landing gear are given and finally obtained its performance curve. Reliability and sensitivity analysis are given by both the failure criterion of the performance failure and the Monte-Carlo method. Thus the importance sequence of influence factor of the dropping performance is obtained, which may guide the further reliability design improvement. The result proved the method of reliability and sensitivity analysis of the landing gear based on simulation mode is feasible and practical.
