Estimation of Stress-Strength Reliability from Unit-Burr III Distribution under Records Data

Abstract To sum up, stress-strength model is analyzed in this studies when unit-Burr III distributed strength and stress variables are available under record scenario. Various generalized inferential approaches are proposed, and the numerical results show good performance of our methods. Although conventional stress-strength reliability is proposed in our discussion, the results could also be extended to other lifetime models and data types with proper modification. Moreover, the results could be extended for a more general stressstrength reliability case like P(Y < X < Z) with respect to generalized inferential approaches when triple strength and stress variables are involved.
