Abstract In this paper, we focus on the systemability aspects for systems subject to the uncertainty of operating environments. Often the exact systemability function for complex systems is difficult to obtain due to the random operating environments. This paper discusses a simple approximation of systemability with loglog distributions using the Taylor series expansion. The proposed systemability approximation function seems to be simple, yet accurate, and easy to use in practice. Thus, it is worth the extra effort to further validate the results with other distribution functions as well as complex applications.
