Research Progress on Bearing Fault Modes and Diagnosis Methods of Wind Turbin | ||||

Abstract | Fan bearing, as an important load-bearing component in wind turbine, is prone to failure after enduring complex alternating loads for a long time and reduces its reliability. In this paper, some fault types of wind power bearings are firstly introduced with examples. Then, based on structural mechanics and data monitoring, the research methods of wind power bearing fault diagnosis are summarized, and the use of monitoring technology and diagnosis method, main ideas and respective advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Finally, the fault diagnosis methods mentioned are summarized and prospected to provide reference for future research direction of wind power bearing.
